Representatives from Local Government agencies, Local Development Organisations, State Agencies and the Social Partners contribute their specific areas of expertise and experience to the table. Through using this approach, the objective of the Board is to improve the co-ordination of service delivery in the county

RCCC provide advice and assistance to childcare services on all childcare issues in the 0 to 14 age range. This includes information on Grant Applications including Capital and Staffing grants, Childminder Development Grants and Mother & Toddler grants. Information is also given on training courses, setting up new services, service development and quality childcare.

North Roscommon Community Forum

The aim of the NRCF is to build capacity to support the operations and viability of community and voluntary groups in North Roscommon. The NRCF has taken a very pro-active role in organising target groups and seeking to meet their specific needs.

At present the NRCF has over 150 affiliated members and is open to a broad range of Community Development Associations, Community Centres, Heritage Groups, GAA, Tidy Towns Residence Associations, Social Care Groups, Cultural/Arts Groups, Enterprise and Employment Groups and Community Rural Tourism groups.
